Argument Ridge Rd 218 to 213
Caribou National Forest
Palisades Ranger District
This ride was the first to the top so far this year.
The trail is still pretty muddy and their is allot of run off. But we all know that just makes for a good time for some of us. Unfortunately we ran out of day light before two of our friends could make it to the top, They have both since been to the top.

The trail it's self is
considered a jeep road. But in early spring when most of the single tracks have still got trees and DEEP SNOW in the trail it's hard to beet this place. Their is another way to the top witch i have done before just not this year. The way is up Burns Creek Trail # 068 To Coal Mine Canyon Trail # 004 this way can also be done after work but it's much longer and allot harder. In fact this can be a great loop if you have time Trail # 004 Coal Mine Canyon ends at Road # 213. But be aware THIS IS NOT A FOUR WHEELER LOOP. I wish it were and it almost is, but their is a small section of the trail that to date is still
impassable sorry guys. One more word of caution if time might be a factor and rider skill level. I would recommend doing this loop going up Burns to Coal Mine and then come down Hell Hole canyon Road #213 to 218 The trail is i think a little easier this way and if it gets dark on ya it is ten times easier to go down Hell Hole.
Argument Ridge can be a great after work ride
